Project by photographer Rankin for Whiskey brand Macallan. For a few days in the summer Rankin spent his time on an estate in Scotland and shot 2000 Polaroid images around the grounds. His model fiance Tuuli features in most of the shots. Edited down to 1000 unique Polaroids, each were placed inside a black leather box along with a bottle of Macallan's Fine Oak 30 Year Old Whiskey.
I would really like to do some testing with Polaroid for my project. I think these are beautiful examples of it. The style is beautiful, the elements within the images are beautiful and I love the double exposure in some of the shots. This is also something else i would like to experiment with. I especially love image 3. I really like the different textures of the glass and her hair and the difference in focus within the image, her head being sharp and in focus and her hand behind the glass being blurred and soft.
